At Sarjeant, we have a rich history dating back to 1889. Throughout the years, we have established ourselves as a trusted provider of home heating and energy solutions. We started heating homes and businesses in 1889 with wood. In 1905, we began supplying coal. Sarjeant transitioned to oil in 1952. In 1975, we expanded our business into the Timmins and surrounding areas. Meanwhile, we were also involved in many projects around the North, including but not limited to Thunder Bay, Fort Frances, Fort McMurray, and as far west as Edmonton.
In 2014, we strategically transitioned to propane, underscoring our commitment to adapting and providing the best energy solutions as the industry and our customers’ needs evolved.
In 2023, we further solidified our position in the industry by acquiring Superior Propane’s northern Ontario territory from Fort Frances to New Liskeard. Today, we proudly operate under Sarjeant Propane, continuing our legacy of excellence and dedication to serving our customers and communities.
